Job Description

Benefits:

  • Training & development
ALL LOVE HOME / ASPGM LLC is hiring an AFC Home Operations Manager for our adult foster care home in Inkster, Michigan. We support adults with mental illness and intellectual or developmental disabilities.

This is a working management role covering the home's daily operations. We need someone organized, dependable and able to lead staff respectfully and follow responsibilities through to completion.

WORKING WITH THE OWNER

Initially, all operational plans, decisions, requests and changes must be emailed to the owner/administrator for direction and approval before implementation. You will prepare recommendations, complete approved work and report results. Authority expands only through written delegation.

Already-approved care routines continue. Immediate safety action and required reporting follow established procedures without waiting for email. Relief staff may be contacted only as specifically authorized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify resident support, individual plans, recipient rights, appointments, outings and transportation follow-up.

  • Supervise and coach staff, review completed work and document performance concerns.

  • Review staffing coverage and coordinate approved scheduling, hiring, onboarding and training tasks.

  • Monitor medication availability, administration records, staff competency and authorized pharmacy follow-up; promptly report concerns.

  • Maintain records, track training and incident follow-up, support Michigan AFC and DWIHN compliance, and verify corrective actions.

  • Coordinate food, supplies, sanitation, maintenance and approved purchases.

  • Review assigned service documentation, billing and authorization follow-up, payroll inputs, receipts and cash controls within delegated access.

  • Provide authorized direct resident support and perform other related AFC operating duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two years of relevant adult residential care or supported living experience, including at least one year of staff supervision or home/program management.

  • Experience supporting adults with mental illness, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or closely related needs.

  • Verifiable examples of managing staff, schedules, records, medication processes or compliance follow-up.

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • Clear written communication and comfort with email, electronic records, scheduling tools and basic spreadsheets.

  • Ability to perform essential duties, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for assigned transportation duties.

Michigan AFC, DWIHN, recipient rights and electronic medication record experience are strongly preferred. Training is provided in our systems, including ECP. Required screening, clearance and competency verification must be completed before applicable duties are authorized.

PAY AND SCHEDULE

$20–$21.50 per hour, based on verified experience and capability. Full-time, onsite, with a planned 40-hour workweek and scheduled management time. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. After-hours assignments and backup arrangements will be established in writing. All work time must be recorded; overtime is paid when applicable.

HOW TO APPLY

Submit your resume describing your residential care and supervisory experience. Selected applicants complete a structured interview, scheduled walkthrough, brief fictional management exercise and professional reference checks. Any actual work occurs through paid, authorized onboarding.

Visits are by appointment only. We welcome qualified applicants and provide reasonable accommodations during the selection process.
