Jan 17, · Thanks for your reply. I am using Word , and there is a red x on Remove Page numbers. When I click on it nothing happens--the page numbers are still there. I am not using any headers or footers. I have been able to remove page numbers in the past. I don't know why I can't do it now. Any other ideas? The red X is part of the command; always.
